5 Effective Ways to deal with Diaper Rash
5 Effective Ways to deal with Diaper Rash Red skin, blisters, burning and … a good cry! The diaper and the moment of change can sometimes turn into a “torture” for our little ones struggling with annoying irritations. Diaper rash is a very common problem that can bother infants very much. But we can prevent it and, if that is notenough, also treat it in a natural way. In fact, drugs are not always needed: some old but effective “grandmother’s remedy” for diaper rash is enough. There are many creams and other commercial preparations intended to treat skin diseases such as diaper rash. However, to solve and prevent this problem we can resort to equally effective natural solutions and remedies. Treat diaper dermatitis with natural remedies There are simple and natural ways to treat red and irritated skin in the diaper area. The most interesting diaper rash cure are the following: Sodium bicarbonate Adding two tablespoons of baking soda to the baby's hot bath will help cure diaper rash and reduce the redness associated with this condition. It is not necessary to rub the area; simply leave the baby for 10 minutes in the water and then wipe the area with a soft cloth. Apple vinegar Mix a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with half a glass of water and apply it with a towel, giving soft touches to the affected area. Finally, dry the area well before putting on the diaper. Natural yogurt Natural yogurt without sugar is a great natural skin moisturizer, so it can help cure diaper rash by applying it as if it were a cream. After each diaper change, place some natural yogurt at room temperature over the affected area and then put the diaper as usual. You can see results in just oneday. Organic cotton cloths Instead of using disposable wipes to clean the baby when you change the diaper, use organic cotton cloths and running water. Disposable wipes can irritate the baby's skin or worsen the irritation due to the perfumes, preservatives and other chemicals they include. Air Dry One of the main causes of diaper rash is the lack of air circulation. To remedy this, just let the diaper area dry itself before putting on a clean diaper. You can play with the baby in the changing table or on a protected surface with something waterproof for half an hour while drying occurs. If the baby is cold, it can be covered with something Washable With these simple suggestions, you can find a solution to the annoying diaper rash. Of course, if you notice that the symptoms do not stop, or even if they get worse, do not hesitate to consult your doctor and get rash cream as soon as possible to evacuate all kinds of doubts.
